Re-opening

Visit the reopened museum from September 29, 2022. 
Free entry from September 29 to October 1, 2022.

Entrance Prices

Tickets are available at the museum. Reduced entry is only possible with a valid ID. Card payment is also possible at the cash desk. We kindly ask you to keep backpacks and large bags in the lockers provided during your stay. Photography is permitted for private use only and without flash.

Last admission: 45 minutes before the museum closes.

Guided tours

In one of our one-hour tours, our guides will show you the unique collection of anatomical wax models and the highlights of the permanent exhibition on medical history. You can also take part in one of our scheduled tours. Scheduled tours in German (advance registration required): Thursday 6:30pm; Saturday 11am. Tour price per person (excl. admission price) 4 euros

Group tours: If you would like to arrange a group tour (max. 25 people) or a tour in English, please contact fuehrungen@josephinum.ac.at.

We will be delighted to organize your visit according to your requirements.
Tours can be booked in German and English.
